SYROS AVOCADO PULP

Syros distributes avocado pulp containing approximately 30% chunks and around 70% mashed avocado.  

Syros’ avocado pulp is produced in South-Africa and Mexico from ripe fruits.
After harvesting, the fruit is selected according to its maturity and oil content. Citric and ascorbic acid are added to the pulp to avoid discoloration in the first two hours after opening a plastic bag. Packaging in plastic bags is immediately followed by deepfreezing.

Every step strictly follows the required HACCP standards.

Ingredients

Only the well-known exquisite Hass-avocado is used in the Syros avocado pulp. For preservation only citric and ascorbic acid are used.

Health aspects
Syros’ avocado pulp has all the richness of the fruit, with a full range of vitamins, antioxidants and no cholesterol. The quality and specifications of the oily fat substance is similar to the one found in olives.

The most common packaging is in

• cartons: 4 x 2.72 kg

Syros also presents custom made packaging according to the clients wishes.

Shelf life

3 years after production date, at -18° C.
